When Shamony Makeba Gibson was just 30 years old, she passed away unexpectedly from a birth related Pulmonary Embolism just 2 weeks after giving birth to her second child Khari. She left behind her two children Anari and Khari and her partner, Omari Maynard. A documentary was created that follows her family and the ripple effect that her death caused. The documentary entitled, Aftershock. The ripple effect continues.
