Born in the pacific northwest I was raised and grew up around music. My mother played Bass guitar and sang for several years around the Seattle area with her first husband. My brother Duwayne grew up and became a promising musician and songwriter. He wrote and recorded and became friends with Both legendary and upcoming Country Singers, such as Willie Nelson , Don Steele, Tanya Tucker, Emmy Lou Harris as well as Joe Diffie, Travis Tritt, and others debuting in the 90's. He passed away in 1992 shortly after getting a tour contract with Ricky Van Shelton. Needless to say my life changed drastically after that. I ended up enlisting and serving a twenty year career in the United States Army and retired in 2015. I also started a family. Married my wife Cassie J. Hickson and had five children.
