With former 'pioneer women' leaders such as Golda Meir, NA'AMAT is made up of 350,000 members with local clubs worldwide advocating for the advancement of women's status and providing vital social services. Through its 233 day care centers, NA'AMAT provides affordable day care to nearly 18,000 preschoolers. NA'AMAT's 20 high schools and 23 multi-purpose centers provide a safe empowering environment for at-risk youth. Last year alone, NA'AMAT provided 184 scholarships for women seeking college and higher education degrees. Couple that with a 24-hour hotline, 5 women's right centers and a domestic violence center, NA'AMAT stands out as the leading advocate for women and single most important provider of core social services - legal counseling, education, child care, health and much more.
