Originally from Los Angeles, she first started performing her songs on stage in Chicago, then New York City, and now lives across the pond as she completes a masters program in maritime archaeology at the University of Oxford (yes, this means she's studying shipwrecks & stuff, & yes, she's very aware that this is a completely crazy thing to do). She spends her days writing songs instead of the papers she's supposed to & her nights performing them on various stages around the area. Or in her shower. But preferably the former.
