Welcome to Adirondack Log Cabin! We are building a butt & pass style log cabin completely from scratch in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of New York.
We’re documenting the entire build in real time: from harvesting and peeling logs, to handcrafting the walls, installing windows, chinking, roofing, and eventually turning this into our off-grid cabin (completely inside of APA guidelines and legal!).
No fancy contractors. No experience when we started. Just a young family with real tools, real mistakes, and real progress.
