The Cathedral Choir of the Risen Christ (1970) is a pro bono volunteer ministry of dedicated singers and musicians who served at the Church of the Risen Christ for 32 years until its installation at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, Singapore in 2002. It sings at the principal mass on Sundays at 1030AM. The choir preserves the richness of sacred music through high standards of performance during liturgical services and performances in Singapore and abroad. Its diverse repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant to choral gems by Palestrina, Byrd, Bach, Handel, Mozart, Faure, Poulenc and modern works by evangelical composers. It has performed in 17 countries including audienzas for the Holy Father, St Peter's Basilica and the Holy Land. Founder-Director Peter Low (DSM, ARAM), a Bene Merenti recipient is a Knight Commander with Star of the Order of St. Gregory and an Ufficio of the Star of Italy.
