The band was formed at the end of high school in 2015. The guitarist/instrumentalist, Jacob Marshall is greatly influenced by Blues, Jazz and Psychedelic Rock. As where percussionist, Nicholas Begg is influenced by prog, Electronic and Jazz. The common thread between the members; is the love for creative music. This allows the music to have a constantly developing sound, but is shown in the different genres they play as individuals. The name Lense was created by the belief; that the band looks at the ideals of Music, society and enlightenment from a different angle then most people. Looking at things through a different "Lense".
