Jenny Duffy is a Vancouver-based vocalist, songwriter and musical storyteller rooted in the genres of pop and country-noir. Her music is achingly regional and acts as a ‘woke vox populi’ for her community. Why does she call her act “Everything’s a ballad”? The name comes from her approach to learning new songs, which often involves slowing things down into a ballad before bringing them up to speed. Look for her busking in Vancouver’s vibrant West End community or singing at a local open-mic! As a former CFL dancer and choreographer for the BC Lions Felions Dance team and dance instructor at Harbour Dance Center, Jenny brings her experience as an entertainer to her musical performances.
