Welcome to Northern Steam, My Channel for railway footage from around the uk. My channel is more that just about steam, it covers model railways, mainline runnings, diesel galas and steam galas, Mainly as the title says i cover steam in the North. My name is Neil and i am a semi retired photographer and hobbyist videographer from Manchester, Uk. I started out as a photographer 10 years ago, but had to retire at 32 due to my wife's ill health. Now as her main carer i fill my time with my two hobbies of railways and wildlife. I run 2 channels on youtube to cover both of these. I shoot my videos with a canon legria hf g10 and a canon legria hf g 25, i hope you like the quality of my work and please feel free to subscribe.
