I'm an independent song/music writer and video creator/producer.
I was a working drummer from the late 1970's through to the mid 1990's and fortunate to have either played, jammed or auditioned for some of Australia's premier bands and singer/songwriters. I wrote my very first song in 1979.
I wasn't a technical drummer but my strength was time keeping (without a click or metronome) which is a very important requirement for a drummer, and I kept it simple. I always played for the music and that's what got me the gigs. Some of my drummers are the great Charlie Watts, Phil Rudd, Steve Jordan and Charlie Drayton.
I'm now retired from playing live but continue to write/create music and videos. Thanks to modern technology, I can now take my song ideas and record them as a finished production in my home studio.
