Welcome to the channel! I am Dr. James A. Jones, Jr., pastor of the DeRidder Presbyterian Church of DeRidder, Louisiana, a member congregation of the Vanguard Presbyterian Church. The videos on the channel are recordings of the current sermon series. The purpose of this channel is stated most clearly in the answer to the Westminster Shorter Catechism's Question 1: What is the chief end of man? (In other words, why are we all here? What is the purpose of life?) Answer: The chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. It is my prayer that these messages from God's Holy Word, the Bible, will lead you to repentance of your sins, faith in Jesus Christ, and a closer walk with God as a result.
