Aquatic Science with Dr Rudy Rosen Closed Captioned is a distance education curriculum for middle and high school students that can also be used at the college level for non-science majors, in the home-school, and by anyone interested in our water world. The curriculum is based on the book Texas Aquatic Science by Dr. Rudolph Rosen a professor at Meadows Center for Water and Environment, Texas State University. 13 aquatic science lessons and 110 closed captioned videos cover physics of water, water chemistry, hydrologic cycle, watersheds, aquatic communities, food webs, adaptations, aquatic ecosystems, aquifers, groundwater, rivers, streams, fish, lakes, wetlands, estuaries, ocean, water law, pollution, citizen action, aquatic science jobs, and aquatic life. Developed with Texas Parks and Wildlife and Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies. Modeled after Missouri Dept. of Conservation‘s, Conserving Missouri’s Aquatic Ecosystems from which some material was used or adapted.
