TypeCon is an annual conference presented by the non-profit Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA), an international organization dedicated to the promotion, study, and support of typography and related arts.
Since 1998, TypeCon has been a premier platform for exploring the diverse world of typography. It brings together industry leaders, design professionals, educators, students, and enthusiasts from around the world to learn, network, and share their passion for type. From the latest trends in type for the screen to the rich history of printing, experimental typography, education, and more. Special events in the past have included the Type & Design Education Forum, walking type tours, as well as exhibitions of international type and design.
