Bob and Brian's Jam Room is the creation of long time sound engineer Bob Tolar with 30 years experience in the media, recording and live sound industry. Everything has been recorded live with the exception of very few punch ins to fix an occasional lemon note. All post recorded tracks are shown by cutting to footage of us singing into the studio mic to acknowledge the overdub. Notice there is no separation of drums from the amplifiers and we are all on floor monitors with our vocals blaring into the recording room instead of in ears, so to get a quality mix on each instrument, including the live mic'd drums, was a challenge that was successfully met. All pan and zoom shots were done by zooming into or panning across the 1080 image rather than an actively panned or zoom shot done by a camera operator or by PTZ control.
