Point of Departure is a Downbeat Award-winning vocal jazz group from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Comprised of about 12 singers -- both a cappella and with a rhythm section -- Point of Departure has its musical roots buried deep in groups such as New York Voices, The Singers Unlimited, and Take 6, as well as classic voices, like those of Lena Horne and Dinah Washington.
