While some people prefer photo albums to preserve memories of their journeys, Cultural Crossroads Jazz collects atmospheres, harmonies, and sonic textures. It's a project that transforms wandering into music. Each recording emerges from a destination, and each composition reflects an experience—of absorbing the tempo, the quietude, the cultural heartbeat, the aromas, the colors and the contrasts.
The collective features five avian virtuosos. "Sage" masters stringed instruments, flowing between guitars, violin, oud, and mandolin. "Luna" anchors the foundation with deep resonances. "Tempo" sculpts rhythm through percussion, from jazz brushes to indigenous drums. "Zephyr" weaves melody and breath with saxophones, clarinets, and traditional flutes. And "Maestro," on piano and various instruments, constructs the harmonic architecture that unifies the sound.
Each recording is a fresh locale, a new expedition.
