Lyra Music is a multifaceted non-profit youth music education organization producing the Lyra Music Festival, The Lyra Music Young Artist Performance Program, and The Lyra Music Competition. Co-directed by Akiko Sasaki and Rachel Odo, every component of the program is designed to work synergistically towards the goals of training young musicians and enriching the cultural fabric of our communities through classical music. Each summer, the Lyra Music Festival presents world class musicians in concert and masterclass events with Lyra Music young artists. Lyra Music's young artists gain invaluable performance experience and give back to the community through free outreach concerts throughout the Hudson Valley.
