Namugonza Maureen Peace by her stage name Ava Peace is an Ugandan recording female artist signed to Black Market Records. Her music genre specialty is Afro Beat, dancehall and RnB. In 2019 she came to the attention of one East Africa's biggest producers Daddy Andre. She had been signing throughout her schooling in both choirs and in the theatre. When she met Daddy Andre he said she was ready for the big league and he signed her to his label Black Market Records. Ava Peace was born on 13th of January, at Mengo hospital to Mr. Kato Gonzaga and Ms. Christine Nakamatte. She is one of the six children born to the couple.
