I am a Swiss/Vietnamese filmmaker based in New York City since 1999. My focus are documentaries and short films on music, art and culture. I made the Japanese / Swiss feature documentary "Negative: Nothing" (co-directed with my brother), which follows the walk of a Swiss man across Japan after the Tsunami in 2011. The film gained a cult following in Japan & Switzerland thanks to social media where it sold out theatrical screenings for 3 years and was among others licensed by SWISS Airlines. I have been commissioned by clients such as The Rubin Museum of Art, Rietberg Museum in Switzerland, Unilever and The Howard Hughes Corporation. My directing, camera and editing work has appeared on MTV, The Creators Project, VICE, NOISEY and The New York Times. I currently produce artist and exhibition films for the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
