ITM (reiteration of the Tagalog word, “itim” meaning "dark") is a 2nd Gen Filipino-American emcee born and raised in Northern California. He considers himself an artist in the greater movement of Pilipinx creatives who are reclaiming their identities by reinterpreting them through the experience of diaspora. In 2018, he moved to the Philippines to live with and serve the urban poor in Metro Manila. Repping Riverside, Quezon City, ITM creates to inspire his "Kababayans" to reclaim and decolonize their identities and meaningfully reconnect back to the Motherland 🔆
