Kampala, Uganda – based rapper/songwriter Doctor speaks directly to his listeners emotions. With a passion for songwriting clearly evident in his lyricism and story telling, Doctor is able to draw from personal and induced experiences to deliver beautiful pieces of art.
He uses both melodic and lyrical rap to convey his story. Born and raised in Uganda, and being surrounded by a society that is only now starting to appreciate the genre of rap, it was acts such as Keko, Navio, Nasty C and A.K.A that inspired Doctor to start rapping himself. He grew up listening to Eminem and has on numerous occasions mentioned what a strong influence and inspiration Em’ is to him.
