M8W arrive sur la scène rock-pop en 2007 et enchaîne les concerts à Paris puis en province. Le groupe réunit quatre musiciens et un chanteur, tous de formation et culture rock, marqués par le rythme de Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, The Doors.
