Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV) is a non-profit, government funded organisation specialising in recruitment, support and retention of the healthcare workforce.
-Provide access to health professionals - we recruit GPs, nurses and allied health professionals and arrange GP locum relief. Provide outreach services to rural communities to gain access to specialists and health professionals.
-RWAV provide access to government grants for continuous professional development. We support doctors in their progression towards Fellowship and support them to gain advanced and extended skills.
-RWAV provide medical practices with business support, training and networking opportunities.
-RWAV is dedicated to increasing opportunities for medical, nursing and allied health students as well as high school students to gain an in depth knowledge of the benefits and opportunities of working in rural Victoria and raise the profile of rural practice.
