Just like most songwriters, I wrote lots of love songs. I've written about searching for love, finding love, losing love. And, I keep searching for new ways to write about love. But, I also write songs because friends request that I try writing about a topic that interests them. Then, I get ideas from things I see or hear, so I end up with songs about all sorts of things. I also like weird topics and like to write about them. I particularly like to write about non-drug induced altered states of consciousness. So, you never know just what will show up here. Even though I have been told most of my life that I can't sing and can't play the guitar, lately a few people have been telling me they like my voice (even though my new songs are affected by throat surgery and old age). I have seen too many of my songwriting friends die without ever recording their songs. I decided if I didn't put them on YouTube they would be gone forever. I hope you find at least one song that touches you.
