Over the decades I've amassed quite an eclectic music library. As I have gotten older, I've come to realize that I have a lot of interesting tracks that are hard to find, especially in a useable format. My goal is to get as much of this material out into the public ear before I grow too old and feeble…
BTW I'm dismayed by how much music is:
(a) under a well-defended copyright, but is
(b) neither commercially available (in a useable format),
(c) nor made available on a fair use basis.
I'd sure like to see things change, like maybe a "sunset" or "use it or lose it" provision on copyrights.
This music part of our collective heritage, and it's not right that much of it can be sealed off for decades!
