I am excited to offer both virtual and in-person string lessons, with my specialty being cello. However, I have moved violin, viola and bass students from the beginner to intermediate levels focusing on suzuki, traditional technique, chamber and orchestral excerpt studies and orchestral and university/conservatory audition preparation. My graduate M.M & DMA cello studies have been at Juilliard, SUNY Stony Brook, Mason Gross School of the Arts, University of Houston and U.T. Austin, Notre Dame, and New College of USF. My professors have included Bernard Greenhouse, Leonard Rose, Channing Robbins, Harvey Shapiro, Ron Leonard, Robert Gardner, Claus Adam, Zara Nelsova, Peter Rejto, and Warren Lash. My focus is to allow students to progress rapidly in their technique and musicality, and play their instruments at a high level with the ease of a professional!
