I had written about 1,300 songs, original. I, also, had written a text of a rock-encyclopedia of nearly 900 articles long, covering in details period from 1954 to 1993 -- then, I can compare things in rock music.
On my own, I consider about 15 songs, of those my 1,300, as better or equal to best fifteen songs ever written. Just read these lyrics:
"They tell you: 'Some birds,
won't get to the shore',
they -- show you the wings on the ground.
They can't even see,
this quill in the sea --
is Angel's iridescent plum...
My Angels, my Angels, my Angels -
they fell one by one,
one by one...
For centuries,
centuries,
centuries...
I owe them my love,
but I know -
they'll be different, from now..."
I called it "Angels", it was published in 2004 on Ampcast.com, and, in 2007, in my 1st book of poetry. Unfortunately, I am chased by racket, then, I could record well just 2-3 songs of this level.
