After the YouTube ADpocalypse, both of my channels were demonetized, and I decided to take down all of my videos. The won't remonetize my channel until I have 1,000 subscribers. Luckily, before they did this, I had just hit the first payout mark (barely), so they sent me one payment. I've watched this channel grow, ever so slowly, as I developed my video recording and editing skills. My older videos are long, boring and uninformative, so I've been working on making them shorter, more interesting and more informative. All of these take work. I've since republicized (they were only hidden from view) most of my videos. Some of my older videos really are pretty boring and had very little traffic, so I've left them hidden, unless they're part of a series (for example, How-To Design and Build a Sailboat Rudder). The first several videos will have a lot of traffic, but the whole series is useless unless you make all of them available, and some people DO watch all of them.
