New Zealand born Composer, Songwriter, Music teacher and Celebrant. Not supporting the use of AI for musical creations. Moleta's non-classical music career started with local Perth punk band, the Brautigans.Two of Moleta's tracks, "Can You" and "111 Taranaki St", are included on the 1994 NZ Various Artists' compilation album, Runner: A Compilation of New Zealand Music. Joshua Glazer described her "haunting piano and whispered vocals". Her debut album, Trust was self-published in 1998. Her 2nd album Dive, was recorded at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios during the August 1999 Solar Eclipse. Love has come again with Human Movement was released on Renaissance UK in 2000. New work on Bandcamp and Soundcloud. New work with Orkidea and Lowland on Pure Trance X1 tbr June 2026. Sophie currently plays piano in an instrumental duo, "Sophie and Si" , with Si Mullumby of Wild Marmalade, on Didgeridoo. New EP tbr -2026.
