Allai, co-founder of Matter & Motion is a DJ and producer who creates electronic dance music, in the genres of progressive house and techno. He hosts a podcast called Matter and Motion’s Podcast with DJ Wiggle, where he showcases his own mixes and edits, as well as tracks by other artists that he likes. He is based in NJ and has been DJing since 1988. He started out playing at local parties and clubs, and later expanded his reach to other states and various events and festivals. He has also shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the electronic music scene.
Allai is known for his versatile and eclectic musical style, which ranges from deep and melodic progressive house to dark and driving techno. He likes to experiment with different sounds and effects, and often creates his own edits and mashups of tracks. He says that his main influences are artists like New Order, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Orbital, Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, and Daft Punk.
