Max is a blue princess parrot (polytelis alexandrae) who is feral but cute. Princess parrots are native to Australia and are sometimes also known as Princess of Wales parakeets.
Princess parrots are usually green with a bit of pink and blue, but Max is a blue mutation, which is a fairly common colour variation in captivity.
Max is over 20 years old and has arthritis so can't fly as well as he used to, but he tries his best.
He is a great bird even though he bites. A lot.
Sometimes he is nice. But most of the time he is just angry.
