Welcome to the Official Channel of the AXA Research Fund, part of the AXA Foundation for Human Progress. We are a unique philanthropic initiative launched by the global insurer AXA in 2008. We seek to address the most important issues facing our society and our planet by advocating for science, funding transformative research, disseminating findings and promoting collaboration. Since 2008, 260M€ have been committed to accelerating research around health, climate & environment & socio-economic risks, supporting over 750 projects in more than 340 academic institutions. In June 2025, we become an integral part of the new AXA Foundation for Human Progress, which consolidates the key philanthropic efforts of the AXA Group and AXA Mutuelles d’Assurances in France, in science, environmental protection, solidarity, inclusion and education, and art and culture.
