Vinyl-only melodic music mixes that unfold slowly, carried by the warmth of analogue sound.
Peripheral is my take on a modern listening experience, somewhere between a DJ set, listening bar, and a curated journey through sound. Each set is built with intention: slower pacing, careful selection, and a focus on how tracks interact over time rather than stand out.
In a scene increasingly saturated with digital, controller-driven sets, this project brings the focus back to the art of DJing through vinyl, curation, and a deeper connection to the music.
Originally from South Africa now based in Amsterdam, Peripheral is rooted in the idea that electronic music doesn’t have to be attention-grabbing to be powerful.
The visuals mirror that philosophy: calm, intimate, and analogue, creating space to sit with the music and notice details that usually get lost.
