THOSE CHOSEN is an avant garde Southern California hip-hop group known for their street influenced, politically fueled, spiritual lyricism consisting of Japetto, Kornbread and Foreshadow (currently known as F.Y.I.). The group to date is known as a trio, but at the inception of this musical brotherhood, Those Chosen, consisted of more members. Originally, members consisted of Obese, Cyanide, Bad Habit, Kornbread, and Foreshadow (formerly known as Pop-A-Daisy). From that original line-up, the group added the last member, Japetto, shortly after the release of the local classic "double CD" style project, "Book 67". Their next project, "Stuck Pedestrians", would be released several years later mainly featuring Kornbread, Japetto, and Foreshadow (currently known as F.Y.I.) with cameo appearances from Obese and Cyanide on various songs. After Stuck Pedestrians was released, every subsequent project or single released consisted of the trio as fans know of the group, today.
