SURVIVE TO RISE. The name chosen by us means just that - overcoming that which prevents us from realizing the true potential of our lives.
The band is comprised of members Scott Sousa (vocals), Tejas Easwar (drums/vocals), Joe Alonzi (bass), and Daniel Hicks (guitar). We took time away from the scene in general some time after the release of our debut EP "Dismantle The Construct", to reformat our approach to how hardcore and even music in general is perceived by the scene, and made a conscious decision to step away from the clear metal tinged flavour of our previous work, in favour of more fluid, dynamic, and melodically charged sonic frequencies that are more likely to find roots in old-school hardcore and rock.
The demos you hear here, are pre-production versions of songs that will result on the our upcoming EP (TBA early 2012). SURVIVE TO RISE write and play music that they hope reach out to all those willing to listen.
