Ya-Ka-Ama is pleased to announce the digitization and preservation of our Media Archives Recordings (1974-2022). The funding was provided by the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) and California Revealed (CA-R). We would also like to thank Greg Sarris, Tribal Chairman of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, Nicole Lim, Executive Director of the California Indian Museum and Cultural Center, and Sherrie Smith-Ferri, Curator of Education and Exhibitions of the Grace Hudson Museum & Sun House for their help and scholarly support with the grant process. Any help identifying the people and their tribes who appear in these recordings will be greatly appreciated!
