Houston Indie Podcast Society is a monthly live podcasting event in Houston, Texas. As the 4th largest city in the United States, Houston has an opportunity to become a loud voice for podcasts and their diverse creators.
HIPS is dedicated to giving indie podcasts in the Houston and surrounding areas a prime opportunity to get their messages heard. Our events invite two podcasts to participate in an episode of their show in front of a live audience every month. This gives them a platform to find new fans and connect with them on a deeper level while networking with other area podcasters.
HIPS also gives podcast fans a chance to interact with creators from the area and find new shows to add to their listening schedules. It is our goal to not just be an event in Houston, but a community built on the love of podcasts.
