Subhasish Ch Bhawal Growing up in an environment of music. His first vocal lessons from Sangeetacharya Pandit Amaresh Chandra Chawdhury (disciple of Ustad Dabir Khan Sahab) of Agra and Rampur Senia Gharana with Dhrupad.After Pandit Chawdhury's demise Subhasish received his talim from his son Pandit Samaresh Chawdhury, an eminent vocalist and a disciple of legendary Sitar maestro Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar.He also sought his musical training under the guidance of the country's most eminent 'Vaaggeyakara' and vocalist Pandit Ramashreya Jha (Ramrang).His mesmerizing journey continued and he thereafter received some of the most treasured lessons in vocal music from none other than the legendary vocalist, Padmashree Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar. Subhasish is an Empanelled Artiste in Hindusthani Classical Vocal, ICCR, of Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India.This highlights Subhasish's unique style that reflects a blend of beautiful musical compositions knit in a Classical background.
