The Learning Institute of Texas (LIT) is an Intensive English / ESL Program (IEP / ESL) that was created in 2001. Serving the Greater Houston area, the nation's most ethnically diverse city, LIT features several levels to our program, from true beginners of the language, to highly advanced students who are seeking to gain entry into US universities. LIT's program puts a strong emphasis on useful, practical, everyday English, while also preparing students academically for college-level English. Our student body consists of people from over 40 countries around the world, with students looking to advance their educational, career, and personal goals.
