Music Generation Galway City is part of Music Generation, Ireland’s national music education programme. We provide high-quality, affordable music education, supporting children and young people to grow through performance, creativity, and collaboration. Music Generation was established by Music Network and is co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, and the Department of Education and Youth. Locally, the programme is led by Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board, with support from key partners across the city. Each year, we work with over 3,000 children and young people in more than 50 locations, including early years settings, schools, youth services, and community spaces. We are committed to access and inclusion, ensuring young people facing barriers can take part fully.
