The Hillside Project is composer Josh Hill’s space to try things out, collaborate, experiment... Josh has been composing, recording and creating professionally for much of his life. The Hillside Project is a chance for him to create without deadline, brief or restriction and release whatever results. Josh works out of his (hillside) garden studio where he creates music which is a mellifluous jumble of melodic classical cinematic ambient improvised jazz folk-type stuff... with piano as its starting point but taking influence from Josh’s extensive musical experience with drums, percussion, electronics and technology.
