Hans Blix is improvised electronica. We create grooves that are strong enough for dancing, yet layered, complex, and ambient. Our music is completely extemporized, combing electronic gadgetry with instincts acquired through the playing and studying of improvised music. Hans Blix is not a jam band where members take turns soloing for extended periods. We approach our music as improvising a whole composition from beginning to end. We hope people enjoy listening to us, watching us, and if they feel so inclined, dancing to us.
