ensemble VeLA ("vela," Latin for "the sails," a constellation in the southern sky) is a group of three musicians specializing in early music. With a passion for discovery and creativity and having fun playing, they bring baroque folk tunes from old manuscripts back to life. They perform their own arrangements on historical instruments and in the sense of historical performance practice.
