ICCRAM (International Research Center in Critical Raw Materials for Advanced Industrial Technologies) was established in 2014 as a competence Center of the University of Burgos devoted to Critical Raw Materials. This Center carries out different researching activities in three research groups and five principal research lines: Group ICCRAM - Environment, Sustainability and Toxicology; Group Materials design and modelling; Group Electrochemical Processes and energy storage.
ICCRAM is involved in numerous European Projects funded under the European framework programs for Research and Innovation, as H2020 or Horizon Europe. Some of them are within the excellent science pillar Marie Skłodowska Curie or the competitive FET OPEN, as well as the NMBP Program and Social Challenge 5, related to Environment and Raw Materials.
