Welcome to Halifax Blues History. A channel dedicated to sharing past performances from some of Atlantic Canada’s most talented blues musicians. The province of Nova Scotia is a hotbed of excellent musicians. Over the years many have come and gone, merged into different bands and back again, all the while playing clubs, festivals and making television appearances. Like most live performers, they know their gigs are seen on a single night and then pass into memory. Fortunately some of these performances were recorded and can be now found here. Sadly, footage isn't available of everyone, there are just so many great players. If you have content you can share, please let us know, we would love to add it to the channel.
