Codecraft Lab is on the leading edge of a national movement to incorporate computer sciences into the education of all students. We are working hard to create curriculum and opportunities, right here on the Space Coast for every kid to learn and to be a creator, rather than a consumer. Computer science and the technologies it enables now lie at the heart of our economy and the way we live our lives. To be well-educated citizens in a computing-intensive world and to be prepared for careers in the 21st century, our students must have a clear understanding of the principles and practices of computer science. We are facing a crisis today because only 2% of current students in the US are studying computer science. That 2% is woefully inadequate when one considers the fact that computing jobs will constitute 60% of all jobs in the future. Share our work, promote equal access, and learn to code!
