This is a channel for budding artists. Animeister harks back to its first iteration “The Animaster’s WebPage”, coded in 1996. Once a budding Geocities site providing step-by-step how-to-draw anime tutorials using animated GIFs and clever HTML; it had a very small following — until life happened. Steve took a VERY long hiatus after graduating from university and thus began a long struggle to find a purpose.
After putting off YouTube and social media for far too long, Steve has set out once more to resurrect and re-imagine “Animeister” - a place for all budding anime and manga artists to find their own selves and their path to self-realization. As a former teacher and designer, his goal is to uncover the processes which artists develop and, hopefully, be able to translate that into something anyone — and everyone — can use.
ANIMEISTER seeks to identify the artist’s current level of progression into their journey, and provide a metered level of instruction to guide them to the next.
