Congregation B'nai Jacob is a dynamic synagogue. As a member of the USCJ, we are proud to be an egalitarian and fully participatory congregation. Our members come from Woodbridge, Orange, New Haven, Branford, West Haven, Bethany, Ansonia, Derby, Hamden, Shelton, East Haven and other towns throughout Greater New Haven. In essence, our house of worship is truly a home to our diverse family. Our Mission is to provide a joyful and inspiring congregation which promotes a strong sense of Jewish identity through study of Torah, worship (avodah), social justice (tzedek), spiritual growth and innovative educational opportunities, while fostering an atmosphere of family within our synagogue, the community and with Israel.
