"Everyone is a Ragged University; a unique and distinct body of knowledge accredited by their experience, with a membership of one" - an unmonetized youtube channel sharing content created to support informal and formal learning developed through the Ragged University project website and public events. The Ragged University project started around 2010 by a group of friends inspired by the positive histories of the Ragged Schools movement which led to free primary school education in Britain during the 19th century. Ragged University draws from many traditions of free education around the world and across time promoting the notion of free higher education for all so that all societies can flourish through valuing the knowledge, wealth and skill held in each and every individual.
