1. Glory to God
To give glory to the Lord means that in our life, work, and family, we live in a way that reflects God’s holiness, love, and power rather than drawing attention to ourselves.
Give thanks in all things: David experienced many hardships in his life, yet he continually gave thanks and glory to God.
Be the Lord’s disciple: Turn your eyes away from yourself and fix them on Jesus Christ, living a life that glorifies God.
A way of life: Humbly give credit to God for your achievements and do not become prideful.
2. Receive Grace
Grace is God’s unconditional love and favor, freely given to us as a gift.
Forgiveness of sins: Through the salvation of Jesus Christ, we are no longer under the bondage of sin.
Help at all times: We can come boldly before the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need.
Grace upon grace: From His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.
